Xfiles episode 9 season 1

so... watched Xfiles episode 9 from season 1. It was about a space ghost, but not the coast to coast kind. It was stupid, and made me kind of angry. I am finding that many of the episodes from the first season are lame compared to later ones. But at the same time I understand, and appreciate how fantastically 90s the whole thing is.
